In this six week class with sculptor Suzanne Long, students will explore creating sculptural works using personal narrative storytelling as a source of inspiration. Students will be guided on a journey to discover and develop your own narrative voice, offering individualized support for different skill levels

Narrative Sculpture @ Happy Life Pottery

Tuesdays 6-9pm, Beginning March 26th
This six week, workshop will focus on hand building. Suzanne will demonstrate building
with coils and the development of the form from the interior and exterior. Demonstrations on
glazing incorporating painterly and graphic techniques, sgraffito, image transfer, cold wax
and illustration. With a focus on the narrative we will explore creating works using storytelling,
and personal experience. The instruction will be individual as I support you in developong
your personal narrative voice.
