Clay Workshops

•ClayLAB. I offer hand building clay workshops open to all skill levels. The instruction is individualized and tailored to each students skill level. Ongoing demos in hand building techniques, and glazing in a small intimate and supportive learning environment with a maximum of six students per class. ​​All Tools, clay, glazes and firing are provided.

​The goal of ClayLAB is to inspire you to rediscover your inner artist, specifically the one who got their hands dirty, the one who found joy in exploration.

One Day Collage and Bookbinding Workshops

•Triangular Map Fold Book Workshop In the Triangular Map Fold Book you'll learn a fun and simple book binding technique.

•Narrative Collage In the Narrative Workshops join me in creating a collage using color, composition, layering, drawing, and image transfer on 6 x 6 x.75 wood panels. We will explore creating works with a personal narrative using storytelling, and personal experience/knowledge.

All Workshops are held in the home studio of Suzanne Long, Ceramic Sculptor, Vallejo, CA.
